Glasgow left-hander David Hogarth made an effective start against the Manchester Comets at Cowlairs Park, leading his team to a 7-2 win. Glasgow is now riding a 3-game win streak after sweeping a double header.

Early in the game, designated hitter Andrew Budge had a 2-run double for Glasgow. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Leopards on top, 4-2.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Hogarth told a Glasgow Citizen reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."

Not the end we were looking for to the first half of the season, disappointing day. Could do with a win tomorrow.
