The Bristol Bulls got a superb performance from pitcher Sam Morrison, but the London Kings still won the game, 4-3. Morrison was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 8 innings allowing 4 runs. The win was Noburo Tsuchiya's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Sam Morrison took the loss for Bristol. Kyle Lawley finished the game for London and earned his 3rd save.

Had Richard Minto not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Minto hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Kings.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Minto.

London is now 13-16, while Bristol is 14-15.

Nice win today, but didn't expect us to reach half-way below Bristol in the standings.
